4Growth and STELLA Join Forces to Support Sustainable Digital Transitions

We’re excited to announce the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between 4Growth and the STELLA Horizon Europe Project—a collaboration aimed at advancing sustainable digitalisation in agriculture and forestry across Europe.

Complementary Approaches for a Shared Goal

4Growth investigates how smart farming and forestry solutions are adopted across Europe, documenting the current state-of-play and exploring future sector developments. STELLA, on the other hand, focuses on co-creating place-sensitive and system-aware strategies that guide digitalisation in rural areas.

By bringing these two perspectives together, the partnership creates opportunities for knowledge exchange, cross-project learning, and increased policy impact. The collaboration will allow both projects to better understand barriers and enablers of digital adoption, share insights on effective approaches, and inform strategies that ensure digital solutions are inclusive, sustainable, and scalable.

Looking Ahead

This MoU marks the beginning of a series of joint activities and exchanges between 4Growth and STELLA, including workshops, data sharing, and co-development of guidance for policymakers and stakeholders. By combining foresight, place-based strategies, and ecosystem-level insights, the partnership aims to accelerate the digital transition in Europe’s agricultural and forestry sectors.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting collaboration as we work together to shape the future of sustainable digital agriculture and forestry!
